Breeder's Cup 2009

This year's Breeder's Cup (The World Championships of horse racing) was amazing for many reasons. 1) Will and my Aunt Carisa got to come too this year, 2) Zenyatta (a girl) beat the best horses in the world, and we got to see it! 3) We also got to see Summer Bird (winner of the Belmont Stakes), Mine That Bird and jockey Calvin Borel (winner of the Kentucky Derby), not to mention dozens of other world class, drop dead gorgeous horses.

This is Zenyatta before the race, she has so much personality! She walks around pawing the ground like a bull getting ready to charge. She loves to hear the crowd cheering for her, and when they walk by the crowd before getting into the gates, she stops and turns to face her fans. When she did it, the crowd erupted with applause! Everyone had GirlPower signs and pink t-shirts, she has been so good for the sport of horse racing.

This last pic is of Zenyatta after her big win. She is absolutely gorgeous!
