Liam's First Birthday Party

Liam had his first birthday party on Saturday. I was a little worried about how long he would last with all of the attention, but I should have known that my little clown would eat it up, and he did. He had so much fun! Finally someone recognized him for the prince that he is! He wore his crown for the majority of the day, and if it fell off he would pat his head, wondering where it had gone! Liam got to spend some long awaited time with his Grandma. Lots of love there.
Liam loves to ride on daddy's shoulders. If all else fails that's our go to distraction.
This is Liam with his Great Great Uncle Henry and and Grandma Ruth. Uncle Henry said that Liam is just like him, he never cries. :)Here are some of us girls with the guest of Honor. Veronica, Renee and Amanda all teach Language Arts with me at CLMS.
A quick pic with Poppi and Mimi.
Our little family, we made it through a year!
Liam with our neighbor girls, Kirsten and Kayleigh. Kirsten helps me babysit when I have Aubrey.
Michele and Aunt Nene, I swear sometimes that Nene is a long lost cousin of my Aunt Sandra. So much love and can do attitude.
Aubrey with the Birthday boy. I spent a lot of my time carrying Aubrey around the party, we're getting fairly attached to each other.
Poppi and Mimi brought Liam a "Time Out" Chair, not that he will ever need it ;) It's super cute though, should we ever have to use it.
Will with his childhood friends Ian and Mikey. Not sure if Mikey intentionally wore the Hustler hat to impress me or not...
Liam was spoiled beyond belief, so we had to recruit the girls' help to open all the gifts.
Cake Time! "Have some Daddy, it's tasty!"

He didn't eat a lot of the cake, I'm sure that for never having sugar it was a lot to handle.
Proud Grandparents.

Thank you to everyone that came and thanks also to everyone who helped me throw the party together. I couldn't have pulled it off without you!
