Let's Hear it for the Boys!

I would like to raise a toast. A toast to the bread winners, the hand holders, the teasers, the motivators, and the shoulders to cry on. You are "Dad".
Will is just getting started as a dad, but Liam already looks for him when he hears his voice, and he always has a smile for his dad. I dread Liam growing up and not being my little baby boy any more, but I do look forward to watching the bond between father and son grow. The days when they play catch and ride motorcycles together will fill my heart with immense joy. Will, thank you for working so hard, and sitting in traffic for endless hours to provide for us. It does not go unnoticed. Happy 1st Father's Day, we love you more than all the stars in the sky and sand on the beach.
My dad, is just a great guy. Anyone who knows him will tell you that. I look up to him in countless ways. To begin with, it's from him that I got my love for animals, big and small. He taught me how to respect your elders, to forgive, to help without being asked, to be accountable for your actions, and to tell the truth, even when it's not easy. Happy Father's Day Dad, you were right, I am thanking you now that I'm older, Luv You!
I am so lucky to have a father in law like Bill. When I'm with him, it doesn't seem like I'm quite so far from home. He has this welcoming way about him, that makes a person feel at ease with him instantaneously. When I look at Bill, I see Will. To you they probably look nothing alike, but when you know them you start to see they are "two peas in a pod". They are both the life of the party, but when offstage they are quiet, thoughtful men, with great big hearts. If Will turns out to be as good of a dad as Bill, Liam will be a very lucky little boy. Happy Father's Day Big Papa!

Grandpa Ross was the world's sweetest man. There is a lot the world could learn from the way he led his life. Even though he was very quiet, everyone listened when he talked, because what he did say mattered, and usually brought a smile to the face of those around him. The day Will took me to meet his grandpa was a day I will always remember, he greeted us at the door with his patented "Well Hello!" and we were fast friends from that point on. He will remain in my heart always. My Grandpa Gradyn, is the guy everyone wants to be their grandpa. On Grandparent's Day at school he would play basketball with the boys (and me and Jen) while the other grandpas sat around. He never missed an opportunity to draw a deer jumping over a log on the chalkboard, (his signature piece), this pleased me to no end. He taught me how to take a joke, and how to get even with a prank. He is also credited for teaching me how to go off the right foot when doing a lay up. Thanks Gramps!
We always enjoy it when Dave comes with Ruth to stay with us. He's has always been so nice to me, even if he does tell me every time I see him that I need to get some sun! (He also falls into the teasing category I spoke of earlier). Every grandpa should know how to tease a little after all. Happy Father's Day Dave, kick back and relax a while!

To the men in my life, you are "DAD", you are just as important as any mom, because it is from our father's love and faith in us that we find our self esteem and our courage to be who we we are. Any daughter will tell you that her heart belongs to daddy. Cheers.
