Home Sweet Home

Well we made it home from our 17 day, 3,500 mile summer road trip. I have to admit there were a few times I wasn't sure we would ever make it home (I actually cried a little bit at about Salt Lake on our way home because I was already sleepy and dreading the next 11 hours or driving!).

We had a wonderful time, we got to go out on Seadoos, bikes, and the boat, and we floated the CDA River. Will fished a little with my brother in law, Tim, and his brother in law, Ray. We got to see all of our neices and nephews, and lots and lots of friends. We watched the Inkom parade, we got rained/hailed/flooded out on at our 4th of July BBQ, watched the "Biggest Show in Idaho" fireworks at the fairgrounds in Pocatello, and I went "golfing" with my sister, mom and brother.... and I am sure that I am leaving even more things out, but thats all thats coming to mind.

One highlite was Rocco discovering that he loved to fetch the stick in lake, much to the dismay of Lucy who shrieked at him every time he got in, and chastised him with bites to his cheeks, ears, and tail upon his stepping foot on land.

But, now we're home and it's back to the real world. I will start going into my classroom next week to get everything ready for students. School starts on the 13th, but we have 6th grade orientation on the 10th. Yikes summer has really flown by this year. Here are a few pictures, hopefully I will get some more from Will's dad soon.

I had so much fun while you were here!! I am so glad I got the chance to spend some time with you. We have gone to the lake a couple times since you were here and Addi complains about you not being there with your boat. :o) I love the pic of her and Will. Good times. Good times.
