Halloween always seems to last about 3 weekends for our family. Here are the boys carving pumpkins with Daddy! Reed refused to let us cut into his, he liked it just the way it was. He even turned down coloring it with markers! Somehow I did not get a picture of Liam's finished product. But it was cute, promise!
On Halloween day the boys had a wonderful Halloween party at school! Including trick-or-treating, crafts, games, snacks and a monster mash freeze dance!
Reed made a pumpkin with the Hummingbirds.
Liam made a playdough spider and Jack-o-lantern.
Just a couple of pirates...
Everyone really got into the spirit this year after being told last year that they couldn't trick or treat without a costume. Liam was none too pleased with Grandpa Dave's vampire costume though, he kept his distance for the rest of the night!!!

Some trick or treating in action. Reed was supposed to be a ninja turtle but the costume didn't fit, so he picked his "Hook hat" that he wears at some point every single day.
Trick or Treat Miss Rachel! That is a scary crew if I've ever seen one! Reed loved that Grandpa Gradyn was a pirate too!
At the end of the night Liam chose his favorite candy from his bag and left the rest out for the Great Pumpkin who left him a surprise in return! He chose to keep more this year, which meant the Great Pumpkin left left less in return. I wonder if the Great Pumpkin will get any candy from us next year?!
Liam's letter (list) to the Great Pumpkin. He came up with this all on his own by copying items from a Ninja Turtle catalog of toys. I think he may have left one or two off, but not many.
| Grandpa Gradyn is a great entertainer! |
