"Family" Valentines Day

I remember when we were little, and not so little, my dad would always get us a box of chocolates and have it waiting on the kitchen table for us when we woke up. Now it has came full circle and we get to give our little Valentine presents! We got Liam a little stuffed doggie called "Scout" who is programmed with Liam's name and favorite things so he sing songs and play games that incorporate those things into them. I'm pretty sure I like Scout more than Liam at this point :) Liam loved his Valentines Day card from Grandma Ruth. You will see in the next few pictures that we have entered the cheesy "close your eyes and smile" phase. Or, try to take the camera away from mom as soon as she pulls it out.
I had to work, but I wanted to get a picture with my guy on his first V-day.
This is my best attempt at getting a picture of Liam's shirt, which says "Mommy's Little Heartthrob" before he went to spend the day with Aubrey, his true Valentine.
That night, Will made a delicious dinner of bacon wrapped petite filet mignon and lobster tail. He also surprised me with some lovely flowers :)
Yes, Valentines Day was very different this year, but it was wonderful all the same.
