More Peas Please

Liam got to start solid food on Sunday! I am going to try to make the majority of it. Today I made Pureed Pea Delight. (The only ingredients were frozen peas and water, not sure why it wasn't just called pureed peas.) By the way, Will's birthday is coming up, for those of you who are trying to think of something to get for him, I have it on good authority that he would really like "Baby Love" a baby food cookbook by Norah O'Donnell.

The first night he totally gagged and hated it, but everything I read said that he probably would, so we pushed through.

The second night, we ditched the bib, cuz... that was just silly. He did a little better, but still he seemed to be gagging on the skins. Tonight I decided to to strain it to get the skins out. It was a complete success. No gagging or crying and he ate an entire bowl.

Way to go Big Man! Aunt Nicki will be there in a week and a half to eat some yummy peas with you! Maybe Mommy can whip up something just a little more appetizing for us by then...;)
