Awkward

I finally got the nerve up to tell my students that I was having a baby. I just kept putting it off and putting it off, but I am obviously showing, so there was no more waiting. Some of the students said that they thought that I was, but thought it would be rude to ask. Some wanted to know when I found out, and if they were the first people I was telling. When they found out I had known since June they were a little offended that I had kept it a secret from them. A few suggested that I name it after them, and promised if I did they would teach them everything they knew...

Their reactions made me smile, and now they understand why I am constantly snacking, and a little sick in the morning. I can't believe I put it off as long as I did now, just being shy and feeling like it was a really personal thing I guess.
